Having been in the creative field for most of her life, plus her passion for people, the nail department has been a perfect way to bring both Carolyn and her guests great pleasure. Carolyn graduated from the Indiana University,  but changed professions in 2001 after attending Tennessee School of Beauty. Her real passion is Pedicures, they not only enhance your feet but also rejuvenate your mind and body, and never fail to improve your day. Carolyn knows the Biyoshi way is service and the experience of being Biyoshi beautiful from head to toe. You can experience the ahhhh of soothhing refreshing scented scrubs and lotions and hot stone pedicure while enjoying a glass of wine or a hot cup of tea. We do offer nail enhancements with aacrylics and are proud to introduce the new CND Shellac 14 day manicure for natural nails. This is a great addition to Salon Biyoshi's finishing touch of the beautiful chic experience and feeling the  Ahhhhhh.

Spends free time:

     I love my church and the people, so I spend a lot of my free time at church meetings and services. I love and adore my grandchildren so I visit as much as I can. I also love to visit my daughters that are out of town.

 

Things that make me laugh:

     My grandchildren, my friends, funny movies, funny books. Laughter is the best medicine for happiness and wellbeing.

 

When did you know you wanted to do nails?

     Nine years ago when I needed a change. I love people and talking and making them feel good.

 

How would you describe your approach to doing nails?

     I look at each case and determine what would be best for them. Meaning gel, acrylic or a manicure to let your natural nail recover for the artificial nail. I'm excited about the new CND Shellac system of beautiful nails for 14 days- color that can last for 14 days on natural nails.

 

What inspires your creativity?

     The trends in magazines, what people are wanting, and wanting my clients to feel pampered when they leave.

 

What advise would you give someone considering artificial nails for the first time?

     Any time you cover your nails with something, there can be damage from cutting off air flow. I monitor very closely for water leaks and damage so I will keep on top of it and let them feel at ease knowing I'm interested in their care.

 

How do you customize a nail service for each and every guest?

     I always ask them what they want to see when they look at their hands. 

 

What celebrity always has great hands?

     Sandra Bullock- she always has short nails that are painted with dark colors. I love that look.

 

How do you approach cutting nails?

     I ask what they would like to see or accomplish in a look.
