As a professional in the hair industry for the past ten years, Jenine Raby is currently assistant manager and one of the lead stylists at Salon Biyoshi.  She has attended numerous educational forums in the field of cosmetology including: Redken Symposium in Las Vegas, NV; training at the Redken Exchange in New York City and the Summit Salon Business College. Jenine was awarded one of the Best Stylists in the 2009 "East Tennessee's Best" poll. She has taken numerous classes on technique, science and business from renowned professionals such as Michael Cole, Roy Peters, Sam Villa, David Stanko, in addition to many more. She also has Wella Color Certification and is trained in Matrix color and haircare. Jenine has worked in top salons in Maryland and Hawaii as well. Jenine has a deep love and strong understanding of the business of beauty. She is passionate about cutting, coloring and makeup artistry and enjoys being a frequent is educator to her fellow stylists.

Spends free time:
     With my husband and my large family, there is always something going on!
 
When did you know you wanted to do hair?
 
     From a very young age, I decided I wanted to become a stylist. My mother was one, so spending time in the salon with her led me to become extremely interested. When I was in high school, I realized that the industry was growing and that this career was actually a fantastic way to support myself.
 
How would you describe your approach to doing hair?
    
     Patience and listening. It is so important to me that my guest feels at home and 100% confident in me.
 
What inspires your creativity?
    
     Inspiration is all around us. Whether in nature or on television, you just have to pay attention.
 
What advice would you give someone considering coloring their hair for the first time?
  
     This is definitely individualized. It depends on their willingness to commit to the look they desure or if they are looking for something more subtle.
 
What celebrity has great hair?
 
     JLo, she can wear just about any style and her hair is gorgeous!
 
Describe your personal style:
 
     It changes, I keep up with the styles but I love to be comfortable.
