What are you working on right now?
My goal is to be better than I was yesterday. To improve myself. To enrich my life. I am running my own race. I compete with no one but myself. This is my journey.
How do you spend your free time?
I’m mostly a homebody. I love being home with my husband and pets. We also love to see live music and exploring nature in our kayaks.
Learn the rules so you can break them like a pro. -Pablo Picasso
When did you know you wanted to be in the beauty industry?
It came to me later in life. I’ve always been a creative person, but this is my favorite outlet.
What celebrities always have great hair?
Hayley Williams of Paramore (Minus the baby bangs/bleached eyebrow phase!)
What is your personal style?
Elegantly disheveled – a little rough around the edges but put-together.
How do you approach a haircut?
A really good consultation. Really listening to what the guest wants, what their struggles are and how to help them achieve that look.
What advice do you have for someone who wants to color their hair for the first time?
Commit to it. Think about it for a while. Maybe try a semi-permanent color before permanent.
